About this policy

Mu Works LLC is a one-person company in New Albany, Indiana. This policy covers the public pages and inquiry forms on muworksllc.com. Separate Mu Works products and client websites may have their own privacy notices.

What you choose to share

If you submit a form, email me, or text me, I receive the information you provide. That may include your name, contact details, business information, the service you are interested in, and details about the workflow or website you want help with. Forms record the site page where you submitted the inquiry. If you accepted analytics cookies, the inquiry may also include sanitized campaign codes and a referring site so I can understand how it reached me.

Please do not send passwords, payment details, Social Security numbers, medical information, or other sensitive information through these forms.

Essential site operation

Vercel processes ordinary request information to deliver and secure the site. Google receives an ordinary request when the site loads its web fonts. If you submit a form, the form and communication providers process what you submitted so the inquiry can reach me. The site also uses limited browser storage for your cookie choice and basic interface state. These functions are not used to build an advertising profile.

Website analytics

Optional analytics are off until you choose Accept cookies. Choosing Only essential, or making no choice, means the site does not load Google Analytics, Vercel Web Analytics, or Vercel Speed Insights and does not set analytics cookies.

If you accept cookies, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies for up to 180 days. It measures page views and return visits; traffic source and sanitized campaign codes; broad location; language, screen, device, operating system, and browser details; time and engagement; scroll depth; and internal navigation. When the related Google Analytics enhanced measurement options are enabled, Google may also measure outbound links, downloads, supported video interactions, and form start and submit metadata. The site also sends fixed event labels for section views, calls to action, package interest, products, client work, validation failures, successful inquiries, and delivery errors.

Google Analytics page URLs and all custom event destinations configured by this site exclude query strings and fragments. Custom events use fixed identifiers instead of copied page text or form values. When enabled, Google’s automatic link measurement can receive a destination link and its displayed link text. I do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, organization names, challenge descriptions, or other contents entered in a form to analytics.

When accepted, Vercel Web Analytics adds anonymized measurements of pages, referring sites, broad location, device, operating system, browser, and custom fixed events. Vercel Speed Insights measures Core Web Vitals and related route, country, browser, device, operating system, and network information so I can find slow or unstable pages. Vercel says these tools do not use analytics cookies. Web Analytics groups page views into aggregated visits and sessions; Speed Insights does not reconstruct an individual visitor’s session.

Advertising storage, Google Signals, ad personalization, remarketing, and targeted advertising stay disabled even after acceptance. I do not sell or rent analytics data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your choice is saved in your browser for 180 days. You can change it at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Switching to Only essential removes the Google Analytics cookies this site can access. An inquiry does not add you to an unrelated marketing list. I do not collect payment-card information through this website.

Who helps run the site

I use Google for web fonts and consented Analytics; Vercel for hosting, serverless functions, security logs, consented Web Analytics, Speed Insights, and encrypted record storage; FormSubmit and Amazon Web Services to deliver inquiry forms; Neon to store a client-encrypted private lead workspace; and email or phone providers to communicate with you. I use these companies only as needed to provide the named services. Readable inquiry and client records inside Mu Works are accessible only to me.

How long I keep information

I keep inquiries and correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a client relationship, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. The cookie choice and Google Analytics cookies are configured for 180 days. Analytics and performance records remain available according to the active provider reporting window. I use HTTPS, account controls, encryption for the private lead workspace, and reputable service providers, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Mu Works does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Using service providers to host the site, deliver inquiries, store encrypted business records, and provide analytics you accepted is not a sale by Mu Works. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. I may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

This business website is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child submitted information, contact me so I can review it.
