Before you order
Why is there no pumpkin pie or cheesecake?
Kentucky's rules for home kitchens leave out custard pies, cream pies, meringue, cheesecake, and cream-filled pastries, and pumpkin pie is a custard pie. Pecan and fruit pies are allowed, so those are what you'll see at Thanksgiving.
Can you ship, or deliver to Indiana?
No. Home bakers in Kentucky can sell only directly to customers inside the state. You can order online from anywhere and pick up on the porch.
What about allergies?
Every label lists ingredients and allergens. The kitchen also handles wheat, milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, and sesame, so I can't promise anything is free of them.
How do I pay?
For the weekly bake, pay by card when you order or with cash or Venmo at pickup. Custom orders take half as a deposit after I confirm the design, and the rest at pickup.
Can I change or cancel?
Weekly orders can change until Wednesday at 8 pm. Custom deposits are refunded in full up to 7 days before the date. After that I've bought the ingredients, so the deposit stays.
Do you make wedding cakes?
Not tiered ones. One home oven can't bake them well. Cookies and small cakes for showers and rehearsal dinners are a good fit.
